East Mont vs. Clintwood will be a high scoring game that will come down to turnovers imo.

Burton will matchup better and give CW more trouble than EM will. Clintwood is the most physical team I have seen all year. By the end of the first quarter after a few punches to the mouth so to speak,EM will be packing it in. I would be very shocked if it were close. The way to destroy a high-scoring offense is an effective ground and pound attack,time of poss/ball control and execution. The Wave can and will do just that. The Clintwood ballcarriers will have a field day.

I hope you are right, I'm not saying CW can't or wont win but I don't expect it to be easy. If EM can protect the QB they can and will score. JIB can't protect the QB thus they can't score.

I can't even look that far ahead. Even though I was told that Jimbo would never allow Goins back, he is back (at least from little talk I've heard)and he will help Norton on both sides of the ball. I laughed earlier when it happened and said it would have almost been poetic justice if the day after it happened, Phil Robbins had him moving into BSG with someone, sort of a reverse Pinkston thing, but didn't happen. Clintwood got the bounces in the first game, make no mistake about that, but also caused some of the bounces. If Clintwood plays to their capability, yes I think they beat Norton, but in a week, who knows. We may have someone get hurt during practice, we may come out and suddenly get turnover prone or penalty prone, just too many variables and knowing that Norton will throw the kitchen sink at us, to really be thinking ahead much. I know the same things could happen to Norton but I'm only speaking for this side of the table

The biggest thing that concerns me is the playing time of starters issue. Norton had to play a full game yesterday, now while there is some extra soreness/possible injuries from that, it also prepared them to play a full game. Clintwoods starters haven't been able to do that in awhile and while physically, I think they are as healthy as they have been all year, the being tough mentally for a whole game factor worries me.

Oh and as for EM. I've heard that the QB is the real deal, the challenge is to pressure him and finish hits on him. If you can do that, whomever plays them has a chance but obviously, its not something thats so easy to do

I do not think Norton has anything at all for CW.
Norton cannot run, they are not fast, they are not really big or strong.

If CW can shore up the secondary (their only weakness), maybe leave an extra DB out there because their DL and Lbs can control the run, its a game thats not close.
